How Russia Has Arranged Logistics with Seized Transnistria and What the EU Has to Do with It: Zhdanov's Explanation
According to Zhdanov, the rotation of Russian military personnel of is carried out through the EU countries.
On the air of his YouTube channel, military expert Oleh Zhdanov explained how Russia arranged the logistics with its military contingent in the seized Transnistria despite the fact that all land and air routes there are blocked.
"Now, there are no ways. However, I do not know if there are trains with dual-use goods from Belarus through Europe to Moldova and Transnistria. Although I think it is unlikely that the EU lets such trains pass. Perhaps, the goods from the Russian Federation are allowed by Moldova through its port on the Danube," the expert suggested.
According to him, supplies to Transnistria can also be carried out through third countries. In this case, the goods may arrive in the port of Moldova on ships flying the flags of other countries.
Invader Tourists
"I can say for sure that military cargoes are not delivered to Transnistria. The rotation of personnel is carried out through the EU countries. Russian soldiers travel as tourists through the EU and Moldova. They leave from there in the same way," Zhdanov explained.
That is why the Kremlin is trying to recruit contract soldiers from among the residents of Transnistria in order not to avoid extra headache with transporting personnel from Russia.
