Human Shield: Vereshchuk Cautioned Parents Staying at Russia-Controlled Territory Against Bringing Their Children to Seized Schools

According the Iryna Vereshchuk, the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and the Minister of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories, invaders have opened the secondary schools in the seized parts of Ukraine and now are using any means to convince parents into bringing their kids there for classes.

"This is done by the Russian Ministry of Defence in league with local collaborators and traitors. Their goal is to use the network of secondary schools in the temporarily seized areas as the human shield for Russian military vehicles and personnel. Everything is very simple, but cynical and extremely cruel. Therefore, I caution the parents in the seized areas against bringing their bids for classes and strongly suggest them to evacuate to Ukraine-controlled territory. If you stay in the Russia-controlled districts, sooner or later the invaders will use you as a human shield. Don’t do that. Evacuate now, when you still have a possibility to do so", Vereshchuk urged.
