During an interview with Lex Fridman, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy denied accusations of corruption and the misuse of international aid.

He stresses that Ukraine mostly receives weapons, not money, and is firmly fighting any attempts at abuse.

"Where we saw risks, we hit the hands of everyone. And it's not only about Ukraine. Along the whole way, there are people or companies who want to profit from the war. But we didn’t profit, and if we found someone, we hit their hands, and we will keep doing that," Zelenskyy stated.

He also commented on the information about the alleged sale of weapons.

"When someone says that Ukraine sold weapons somewhere, Russia also raised this message. We’ve always said that our military would kill these people without trial or investigation. We don’t have enough weapons, and someone could be selling something," the President stressed.

Zelenskyy says that the spread of baseless claims harms Ukraine as it undermines the trust of international partners.

"When there is too much of this information, trust is lost. People listen to the media and become disillusioned. And then you lose aid."

At the same time, he acknowledged that such problems exist on the domestic level.

"Although I emphasize that at the everyday level, this does exist, and we catch these people and counter this," Zelenskyy concluded.
