Today, monitoring channels reported that an enemy reconnaissance drone, "Orlan-10," was operating in Kyiv region.

Officially, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, immediately after the air alarm was announced at around 14:00, confirmed that there was indeed activity from a reconnaissance UAV in Kyiv region, adding that air defense work is possible.

According to military expert Oleh Zhdanov, the flight of such a UAV could indicate preparations for a ballistic missile strike on an industrial area or energy facilities.

"Last time it was exactly like this. For example, in Dnipro and Sumy. If a reconnaissance drone appears, a ballistic missile strike might follow after a while. The enemy uses the drone to check if the facilities are empty. In 2022-2023, there were reports that these drones are equipped with high-quality optics. For example, "Orlan" can read a car's license plate from three kilometers away," Zhdanov said.
