Invaders Opened a Passenger Railway Route from Melitopol to Crimea to Carry the Weapon
Russian invasion forces are going to haul the weapon and military hardware from annexed Crimea to Melitopol using civilian passengers as the “human shield”.
In the temporarily seized city of Melitopol, local guerilla fighters blew the railway tracks and Russian armored train making it difficult for invaders to haul the weapon and military hardware. In order to avoid future sabotage, the enemy troops decide to open a so-called “passenger railway route”, as Ivan Fedorov, the Mayor of Melitopol, reported.
“The invaders have announced the opening of passenger railway route from Melitopol to Dzhankoi on July 1st. They decided to launch a passenger train in order to use our civilians as the human shield and avoid further sabotage attempts. This railway is a well-known and expected target, since it’s mostly used for ordinance, explosives and heavy weapon carriage”, Federov said.
The Mayor also reminded that previously the local guerilla fighter made an explosion at the Melitopol railway and damaged the Russian armored train.
