It Has Never Been So Hard: Bakhmut Defender Tells About the Hellish Situation in the Town

A soldier of the 93rd Kholodnyi Yar Brigade, which is defending Bakhmut, spoke about the extremely difficult situation. "The invaders are attacking with everything they have. These are Grad rocket launchers, artillery, mortars, and aircraft. They are also trying to storm the city, throwing manpower into the combat, as the military said on the air of Espresso TV channel.
"If the situation in Bakhmut could be described red, I would say it is blood red. It is a real hell raging there. The town itself is being shelled. The enemy is shooting from everything they have: Grad MRLS artillery, mortars, aircraft bombs. In addition, the enemy's infantry attempts to advance under the cover of the air forces. They approach in small groups of about 5-10 people and go to the broken houses, waiting for other groups to join them. When the appropriate number of them gathers in there, then they can move to a street or another building," the Ukrainian fighter described the enemy's tactics.
The soldier added that the most difficult situation was on the northern side of the town.
"In my opinion, whether we will hold Bakhmut and whether it will stand depends on the brigades standing on the flanks, where the enemy is trying to cut off our ammunition supply. We are taking all measures to prevent this from happening. However, the situation is very difficult, it has never been so difficult in Bakhmut," he said.
