President Volodymyr Zelenskyy received a report from Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, regarding the situation at the front.

The Head of State announced this on his Telegram channel on October 25.

According to him, special attention is currently being focused on the Pokrovsk, Kurakhove and Lyman directions.

"It’s difficult in Donetsk region, but our combat brigades are holding their positions and doing everything possible to destroy the occupiers," Zelenskyy said.

Meanwhile, Ukraine is carrying out its tasks in Kursk region of Russia, the President added.

"A buffer zone on Russian territory protects Ukraine from Russian attempts to expand the war in the east of our state and ensures significant Russian losses," the President reported.
