"It Supports Terror": Israeli Ambassador Explains How Iran Threatens the World and What Should Not Be Allowed

Israel is very concerned about Iranian-Russian military cooperation, in particular, the supply of drones to the occupiers, which they use to attack Ukraine. Israel fears that these drones could be used against them, as Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Michael Brodsky said in an interview with BBC News Ukraine.

"There are many scenarios. We are very, very worried," the Ambassador when asked about whether he believes that Russia's increased assistance to Syria and Iran could lead to a new war, and continued, "We know that during the war Iran supplied and continues to supply Russia with drones, and we know that these drones that are directed against you today can be directed against us tomorrow."

According to him, Iranian drones were supplied not only before the war, but the country continues to supply them to Russia during a full-scale attack. He emphasizes that the same threat may soon arise against Israel, so it is very important for the country to learn how to deal with this threat and prepare for such a possibility. In this context, Israel takes an example from how Ukraine is fighting Iranian drones and learns from it.

"No matter how cynical it may sound, we are learning from your example today. We realize that we may have to face the same threat in the near future and somehow resist it...  We have been saying for many years that Iran is a threat to the whole world, and today we have seen it in Ukraine... Iran supports terror, supports wars, supplies its weapons to certain countries and terrorist organizations," the Ambassador explained.

Brodsky emphasized that "Iran is a colossal threat to the whole world," and it is important to prevent it from becoming a nuclear power.

"Because then the danger will increase several times, and what should we do with Iranian weapons that fall into the hands of both individual countries and terrorist organizations, including in the Middle East," Brodsky said.

Commenting on the information about Iran's possible supply of ballistic missiles to Russia, the ambassador expressed hope that this would not happen, "because it is a step towards additional escalation."
