Kremlin Turn Russia-Controlled Part of Donbas into Kadyrov’s Playground

Russian President Vladimir Putin uses typical "horde tactics," allowing his vassals to "rule" over invaded territories. This is evidenced by the increasing power of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov in the temporarily sized territories of Ukrainian Donbass.

According to the Center for National Resistance, the Russian invasion authorities are appointing people loyal to the leader of the Chechen militants to leadership positions in the region.

In particular, Gleb Mikhailov from Dagestan, who is believed to be close to Ramzan Kadyrov, was appointed to the “prosecutor" office in Luhansk. Mikhailov also brought his assistants with him. His task, in addition to repressions, will likely be to legalize the crimes of Kadyrov's forces in the Russia-controlled territory of the Luhansk region.

In addition, delegations from Chechnya often visit Donetsk monitoring the work of Russia-appointed regional authorities In particular, the so-called Chechen Minister of Information Akhmet Dudayev, Chechen MP Dzamalay Zakriyev and Kadyrov's Adviser Umar Daudov have recently visited the Russia-controlled regional capital.

A large number of Kadyrov's fighters are also deployed in sized parts of the Donbass, mostly sitting in the rear, but wielding unlimited power.

According to the National Resistance Center, the Chechen leader has already received the "Hero Star" award of the "DPR" and "LPR" fake republics from the supreme gauleiter of the region as a sort of demonstration of the loyalty of the "invasion authorities" to Kadyrov.
