The Air Force reported that on May 13, Russia lost five military aircraft in the Bryansk region.
This was said by Yuriy Ignat, Spokesperson for the Air Force Command, in a telethon on May 14.
"Helicopters, an air strike group, attacked Ukraine from the Bryansk region. They do this every day. They carried out guided air bomb strikes. There are already talks of a third helicopter, so five in total, probably faced some problems. They wanted to bomb our peaceful people, our regions," he said.
According to him, Russia is directly responsible for the mass aviation disasters.
"So it turns out, yes. Of course. "The black day of aviation" - they have already recognized it. There is an analysis. They are going to fire and punish those responsible for the mess that is happening. It's nice to read such news from the enemy," Ignat said.
