The full-scale war of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, which began on February 24th, 2022, daily shows the world Russia’s global violence and cynicism.
Thousands of civilians killed, hundreds of children’s lives taken, millions of broken destinies, hero towns and cities destroyed, violence and ruins — this is what the Russian military are leaving behind.
TSN.ua news website (ТСН.ua) records crimes committed against the Ukrainian people. In particular, in the website section "Materials for The Hague" we daily publish all those painful and horrible photos and videos of the war; and their number has already exceeded thousands... 1+1 media also continues to implement a number of initiatives and projects for the international audience, aimed at drawing the attention of global community and the public to all the horrors the Russian Federation is responsible for. We continue posting videos which reveal specific crimes of the Russia’s leadership and the Russian military.
The events in Ukraine must remain a central topic on the agenda of the entire civilized world, and Russia must be held fully accountable for its unlawful actions before the International Criminal Court in The Hague, including multiple violations of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War of 12 August 1949, and Protocol Additional to the Geneva Conventions of 12 August 1949, and relating to the Protection of Victims of International Armed Conflicts (Protocol I) of 8 June 1977.
The fifth video from the compilation "Materials for The Hague" brings up the issue of Russia’s potential nuclear terrorism against Ukraine and the entire civilized world, further destruction of central heat and power plants (CHPs) and oil storage depots. On the first day of Russia’s full-scale war on the Ukrainian territory, the invaders seized the Chornobyl NPP, and within a few days later – the Zaporizhzhia NPP.
Moreover, in his multiple speeches, some of which are presented in this material, the Kremlin’s ruler threatens Ukraine and the entire world with using nuclear weapons. Taking such unreasonable steps, the so-called "liberators" bring closer not only a humanitarian disaster, but also an awful nuclear catastrophe which pose a threat to the entire world.
The video contains evidence of violations of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War of 12 August 1949, in particular Protocol Additional to the Geneva Conventions of 12 August 1949, and relating to the Protection of Victims of International Armed Conflicts (Protocol I) of 8 June 1977, namely Part IV, Chapter I, Articles: 56 and others. Furthermore, the facts of disregard for the Resolution of the IAEA Board of Governors dated March 3rd, 2022 of session 1613, during which Russia has been urged to cease all military operations near and against the Chornobyl NPP and other nuclear facilities, and to bring them back under the control of Ukraine.
