The occupiers launched rockets along the border so that it would be difficult for air defense to intercept them.

Judging by the video, circulating online, showing the moment of the strike on a residential building in Kharkiv, Russia attacked the city with “X-22/32” missiles.
This was noted by military-political analyst from the “Information Resistance” group, Oleksandr Kovalenko.
"Its characteristic plumage and the explosion power, visually estimated at around a ton, provide grounds to assert this. In other words, the Russian occupiers are using these missiles in the border zone to destroy cities. Essentially, it's what they have been doing across Ukraine for a long time," he wrote.
The second point highlighted by Kovalenko is that during today's missile attack, the missiles flew along the border areas, where there are no air defense systems. Accordingly, it is difficult to intercept such targets.
"And the occupiers are well aware of this. This circumstance once again raises the question of providing Ukraine with a sufficient number of Patriot or SAMP/T air defense systems to cover at least the major cities," the expert emphasized.
