Missile strike on Kyiv: death toll rises to 27 – new details

As a result of today's missile strike on Kyiv, where Russia targeted the children's hospital "Ohmatdyt," a private clinic on the left bank of the capital, a business center, and destroyed an entire entrance of a five-story residential building, 27 people (including 3 children) have been confirmed dead.

This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration.

The missile strike caused damage in 7 districts of Kyiv – Solomianskyi, Dniprovskyi, Darnytskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Desnianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Holosiivskyi.

Shevchenkivskyi District

The strike caused the destruction of two floors of the "Ohmatdyt" hospital building, covering approximately 400 square meters. Two adults (one of them a doctor) were killed, and 10 were injured. Several other buildings were also damaged. Rescue operations and debris removal are ongoing.

In another part of the district, an entire entrance of a multi-story residential building was destroyed, with the rest of the building damaged. Seven people died, including 3 children. Eighteen people were injured, and seven were rescued. Rescue operations and debris removal continue.

An industrial facility was also damaged. Two people died, and three were injured. Debris removal is ongoing.

Solomianskyi District

The business center "Domino" was damaged. Seven people were killed, and nine were injured. Rescue operations have been completed.

Holosiivskyi District

Partial destruction of a five-story residential building occurred, resulting in two fire outbreaks covering 10 square meters each and damage to the roof. Twenty-two people were injured.

A nearby kindergarten was damaged. Garages were also affected, and ten cars caught fire.

Dniprovskyi District

A four-story medical center building was partially destroyed by the strike. Nine people were killed and five injured. Rescue operations have been completed.

Darnytskyi District

A private house was damaged, injuring one person.

Desnianskyi District

A fire in a two-story private house was extinguished.

Sviatoshynskyi District

A fire broke out in an industrial building and was extinguished, covering an area of 40 square meters.

Private houses and the building of a professional economic college were damaged. 5 people were injured.

Overall casualties in the capital

In total, 27 people (including 3 children) have been confirmed dead, and 82 people were injured.
