Night attack by drones in Ukraine: the Armed Forces reported on the enemy's tactics consisting of three waves

During the drone kamikaze attack on Ukraine on the night of April 21, the Russians were not only trying to target critical and strategic infrastructure, but were also scouting for air defense systems.

This was reported by the Head of the Press Center of Security and Defence Forces of the South of Ukraine, Natalia Humeniuk, during the "United News" telethon broadcast.

She pointed out that the occupiers are currently attacking Ukraine with drones because they are cheaper than missiles.

"Apparently, they were not just targeting critical and strategic infrastructure, but also searching for air defenсe forces and equipment, because they are currently attacking with drones as a cheaper alternative to missiles. They are saving their missiles," explained Humeniuk.

She noted that enemy drones hit an infrastructure object in Vinnytsia region, but most of the UAVs were successfully shot down.

"If last night they attacked from the direction of the Azov Sea, now they are looking for different ways and trying to attack from other regions: from the north, northwest, and northeast directions," said the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Defenсe Forces of the South.

She added that the aggressors are adjusting their tactics. The first wave of enemy drones detects Ukrainian air defense systems, the second tries to hit them, and the third - attacks the targets.
