No Passports, No Absentee Voter Certificate Needed: Haidai about “Referendum” in “LPR”

No passport is needed in order to “vote”. Everyone, including the holders of “LPR” passports, Ukrainian identity documents or temporary IDs issued instead of lost passports are eligible to participate in the voting, Serhii Haidai, the Head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration, reports.

"One can only imagine who many these IDs will be issued in Luhansk Region during these days. Another good question is will they be issued to local residents only or to Buryat troops as well”, Haidai noted.

Furthermore, the “referendum” participants may cast they vote outside of the registered place of residence even without the absentee voter certificate. Those willing to join the “referendum” on site will be included into additional lists.

"Number of voters in this “carousel” is unlimited. The outcome will be counted soon”, the Head of Regional Military Administration added.
