Occupied Mariupol is on the verge of an epidemic: details 

Infectious diseases are spreading rapidly in the temporarily occupied Mariupol. Unfortunately, an epidemic is possible in the city. 

This was reported by the Mariupol City Council. 

What is known: 

As noted, over the past four weeks, the number of people with viral infections has increased significantly in the temporarily occupied city. Every day, more and more residents are seeking medical assistance. Among the symptoms are high temperature, severe cough and others.   

The occupiers do not report whether this is an outbreak of acute respiratory infections or the coronavirus infection COVID-19. Hospitals are not prepared for the period of infectious diseases spread, especially concerning those with coronavirus. Medical facilities lack necessary medications and equipment.  

The authorities emphasize that the incidence is rising due to the low level of healthcare in the occupation.
