“Occupiers have used weapons of mass destruction in Mariupol”, - Podolyak

The advisor to the Head of the office of the President of Ukraine  Mykhaylo Podolyak has told about extremely complicated situation in Mariupol. 

He informed that during his video address.

“This is the destroying of the city. Almost 90 percent of the city is ruined, many people have died. That is the classical example of intended Russian genocide. It will be included into schoolbooks. The weapon of mass destruction was used there. The investigation will be held, this is a very sensitive topic. We have to realize that all that will have heavy legal consequences for Russian Federation. The fact that they can use chemical or biological weapons changes the world completely. Now we can’t hold investigation in Mariupol for objective reasons, I guess you understand. Russians lie constantly. So let’s wait for the results of commission of inquiry, which will be formed in Ukraine. The war – is a constant challenges for Ukrainians, for the state”, - he told. 

On the 11th of April at night Russians have dropped the bomb with unknown substance on Mariupol. Three people suffered.

From 20 to 22 thousands of civilians have died in Mariupol already, according to preliminary data of the Donetsk regional administration.
