Podoliak Explained Why Russia Is So Desperate to “Freeze” the War Against Ukraine

Mykhailo Podoliak, the Adviser to the Head of Ukraine’s Presidential Office, believes that Russia is going to “freeze” the war in Ukraine for six months in order to accumulate more weapon and troops at the frontline.

“If the West gets tired of the war, Russia will strike again with the full force”, Podoliak said in his interview for Tagesspiegel.

According to him, Ukraine must proceed with the counteroffensive operation in the southern part of the country in order to liberate as much territory as possible.

"The more heave weapon we get, and the faster we get it, the faster we will be able to end this war”, Podoliak emphasized.
