Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin has submitted to the State Duma a draft law for the ratification of a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement between Russia and North Korea.
This was reported by Russian propaganda agencies.
The treaty resembles a military alliance and includes military and other cooperation between Russia and North Korea in the event of an attack on either country.
Since Putin's visit to North Korea in the summer of 2024, the Russian army has begun to use North Korean artillery shells on a large scale.
