Mariana Mamonova was captured by the invaders, when she was saving the lives of Ukrainian soldiers and civilians in the besieged city of Mariupol. Soon before being captured, she let her family members know that she was pregnant. For over five months, family and friends hasn’t received any news or communications from her. In order to save Mariana, they beg for public attention and publicity, TSN reports.

Ms. Oksana hasn’t seen her daughter for almost a year.

"Last time, Mariana was here on her wedding day. I haven’t seen her since then”, Oksana Cherepushko says.
Mariana, 31 y/i, is a military paramedic. When the full-scale Russian invasion started, she was in Mariupol, turned by the invaders into the raging hell.

"She messaged me and admitted that the situation there was getting worse and worse every day. They were running low on potable water and medicines”, Volodymyr Cherepushko, Mariana’s father, explained.

In the besieged city under Russian shell fire, Marian first learned that she was pregnant with a baby, she had been always dreaming about. She told about it her husband and family, and then was captured by Russian troops just few days after.

"I’m so worried about her and her baby. I ask all involved stakeholders to help”, the paramedic’s mother urges.
Mariana’s family members have no idea about her current condition. They only know that the young woman is now kept at Olenivka colony. They found out from the military released from Russian captivity.

"They only know that she was kept in a cell together with other inmate. Probably, some of her collegues", Anna Martsynkevych, the paramedic’s sister says.

They haven’t received any news from Mariana for 5 months. The family has applied to all authorities at every level of jurisdiction, but yet in vain.

"She is about to give birth in October, and we still cannot get her out of there. We call everywhere, address each and every authority, but the government does not respond”, the paramedic’s father says.

Day after day, the family is desperately waiting to see the young woman at home. Her mother carefully wipes the dust off her favorite books and medical textbooks, while her nieces take care after her pet cat Tomas.

"When she was childless, she always said that Tomas is her first baby. “When I finally have a baby, I’ll have two children”, she said”, her nieces recall.

The walls of Marina’s former school are decorated with her photos. Every one way shocked, when the faculty found out that their former student was captured by Russian troops, the school principal, admits.

"Even our toughest male professors were crying. We wait to see her so much, and we hope that she will be alright”, Maria Tokmyna, the school principaal says.

Mariana parents also refuse to give up, although it’s the first time when they haven’t seen her daughter for such a long time”.

"We spent together every family holiday. Wherever she was studying, she always did her best to come home and celebrate with her family", Mariana’s mother recalls.

Mariana is about to give birth after two months. Her family member hope that by that time she will have been released, and a baby will be born at home.
