Putin Introduced “Martial Law” in Temporarily Seized Parts of Ukraine

The fake order will become effective at midnight on October 20th.

According to available data, Putin’s “martial law” includes the following measures:

  • Prohibition for citizens to leave the country.

  • Evacuation of business, social and cultural facilities, temporarily resettlement of civilians to the safer regions.

  • Introduction of special entry and exit regime to the territory, restriction on movements within the territory.

  • Engagement of citizens into defensive works, response to enemy attack consequences and restoration of economic facilities.

  • Confiscation of personal and corporate property for defence needs with subsequent compensation of confiscated property value by the government.

  • Introduction of military censorship in communication field, control over telephone conversation.

Essentially, it means that from now on Russia will openly steal Ukrainian property “evacuating” it to its territory, confiscate the property of civilians and conduct full-scale mobilization campaign in seized regions of Ukraine.

Furthermore, Putin declared “medium response level” in Crimea, Sevastopol, the Krasnodar Territory, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk and Rostov Regions.

Besides that, the Russian dictator also introduced “high alert” in the Central Federal District (including Moscow) and the Southern Federal District.
