Russia is ready to sit down at the negotiating table regarding Ukraine as soon as tomorrow. At the same time he outlined the conditions for a ceasefire.

This was stated by Russian president Vladimir Putin.

Specifically, the dictator demands the "complete withdrawal" of Ukrainian troops from Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions. He emphasized that this applied to the entire territory of these regions, not just the parts occupied by Russia.

"Once Kyiv announces that it is ready and begins the actual withdrawal of troops, and also declares its renunciation of NATO membership, we will immediately order a ceasefire and begin negotiations. We guarantee the safe withdrawal of Ukrainian units and formations," Putin said.

Additionally, the Russian leader reiterated the claim that Russia supposedly "did not intend to storm Kyiv."

"Today, Russia is making another real peace proposal, but if the West and Kyiv refuse, it is their responsibility for the bloodshed. Our fundamental position is a neutral, non-aligned and non-nuclear status for Ukraine, its demilitarization and denazification. The basic agreements for peaceful settlement must be fixed in international treaties. It is clear that this also includes the lifting of sanctions against Russia. This is not about freezing the conflict, but about its complete resolution," he added.
