Putin Wants to Frame Iran Up: Expert About Russia’s Military Aid Request for Teheran
Oleksandr Musienko, the military expert, believes that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has started to blackmail Iran in order to extort military aid.
According to him, Russia wants Iran to repay the debts for Kremlin’s previous support, since for many years Russia had been helping Teheran affected by the sanctions. Now Putin is using his favorite tool of diplomacy – blackmailing, Oleksandr Musienko, the leader of Military and Legal Research Center, believes.
“I think Russia has started to actively blackmail Iran. They basically asks Teheran to repay the debts for Kremlin’s previous support, since for many years Russia had been helping Teheran affected by the sanctions. So now Russia is requested UAVs, and the United States are perfectly aware of this request. Obviously, these rumors won’t help Irina’s image and reputation in the eyes of the treaty signatories. So Russia is essentially farming Iran up”, Musienko says.
