Putin’s regime issues cynical statement about strike on Sumy

Putin’s regime has made a cynical statement regarding Russia’s strike on Sumy, which claimed the lives of over 30 people. They insist the target was "exclusively military."

This was reported by Russian propaganda media.

According to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, "the course of the special military operation is not commented on." He also suggested relying on information from the Russian Defense Ministry.

"I can only repeat the statements of our president and military that our forces strike only at military targets and areas near military facilities," Peskov lied once again.

Following Peskov’s remarks, Russia’s Ministry of Defense commented on the strike on Sumy.

"On Sunday, the Russian Armed Forces struck with an "Iskander" missile, a meeting site of the Ukrainian Operational-Tactical Group "North" command staff in Sumy," claimed the Russians, adding that allegedly "more than 60 Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen were eliminated."
