Russia Is in Tune for Long-Term Hostilities to Solve the “Ukrainian Problem” within Next Several Years – Arestovych

Today, the Russians have realized that they are uncapable to quickly seize Ukraine, as Oleksii Arestovych, the Adviser to the Head of Ukraine’s Presidential Office, said during his livestream with Mark Feigin, the Russian journalist critical of the government and human rights advocate, commenting on the future plans of the Russian Army.

"Russia is in tune for long-term war against Ukraine. This war may last up to several years. Medvedev’s statements that Ukraine may cease to exist in the next few fears is a perfect indication of such plans. They have realized that they have made a mistake and they are uncapable to seize Ukraine quickly. So now they count of the West’s weakness. From their perspective, this weakness is already demonstrated by the West”, Arestovych said.
