Anatoliy Kulikov, the former Minister of Internal Affairs of the aggressor country Russia, said that the Russian invaders need to seize several more Ukrainian regions.
This is reported by the Russian media of mass propaganda.
"We absolutely need Mykolaiv and Odesa regions. This is necessary in order to prevent the motivation of the West to take Ukraine into NATO," he cynically stated.
He says that such a scenario is necessary to cut off Ukraine from the Black Sea. According to Kulikov, after this, NATO will not be able to use the sea borders for its own purposes. In addition, Kulikov is convinced that if Ukraine loses two regions with access to water, it won't be needed by the Alliance.
The former minister cynically emphasizes that the blame for the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, does not lie with the Kremlin.
"Russia is not to blame. The blame lies with the nationalists and the West, which incited them. Our task is to oppose them," Kulikov said.
