Russia Wants to Start the War in Entire Europe: Expert Explained Putin’s Core Strategic Plan
Kremlin wants to freeze the war in Ukraine in order to build up its military potential and attempt another blitzkrieg against other countries.
Russia needs between 3 and 8 years in order to build up its military potential and attempt another blitzkrieg both against Ukraine and against Moldova and Baltic States.
This opinion was voiced by Yurii Shulika, the Director of the Russian Aggression Research Institute, in his interview for Gravred.
According to him, in order to achieve its plan and strengthen its positions at the temporarily controlled territories, Russian now attempts to “freeze” the hostilities and force Ukraine to accept negotiations. If Russian manages to achieve it, it will turn seized areas into a “one big Donbass” and maintain the low-intensity armed conflict.
"If previously the frontline length was only 300 km, now it stretches for 1300 km. This wide frontline will be held, until Russia forms the necessary tank and aircraft divisions, etc.", Shulipa says.
According to him, in order to build its military potential, Kremlin may need between 3 and 8 years.
"This is what was voiced by the Russian General Staff’s informal spokesman Mikhail Khodorenok – they need time, between 3 and 8 years, in order to build up military potential, try to bypass imposed sanctions, draft an army of around 2 million personnel planning for permanent losses of around half million and attempt another fast blitzkrieg against Ukraine, the Baltic States and Moldova. They may also try to recruit the population of seized territories and start the large conventional war in the entire Europe. This is the core strategic plan designed by Putin and his environment”, Shulipa believes.
