Currently, there is no observed concentration of enemy Russian forces near Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
This was stated by Spokesperson for Operational Tactical Group "Siversk," Vadym Mysnyk, on the air of the telethon.
"In this regard, we do not see any significant changes. The state border stretches for hundreds of kilometers, and the enemy also disperses its forces," said Mysnyk.
He emphasizes that the operational situation in Chernihiv and Sumy regions has not undergone significant changes. The occupiers continue their previous tactic of shelling border settlements. Additionally, active Russian SRGs are present.
"During the shelling, the enemy uses their entire arsenal of weapons, mainly artillery of various calibers, FPV drones and strike-reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles. Occasionally, they also resort to airstrikes using guided and unguided aerial bombs from airplanes and helicopters," the spokesman for Operational Tactical Group "Siversk" said.
According to him, the Defense Forces are working to detect all enemy attempts to penetrate into Ukraine. Ukrainian forces are monitoring the movement of enemy equipment near the border and inflicting maximum damage on the enemy.
