Russians Are Testing Experimental Weapon Designs in Ukraine – the Ministry of Defense

At least several different kinds of such weapons have been used in Ukraine during the full-scale invasion.   

According to Hanna Maliar, the Deputy Minister of Ukraine, such practice is a well-known hallmark of Russian Army. Russia has consistently used the similar methods during the military conflicts in other parts of the world. According to Maliar, in Ukraine, the Russian invaders are using a very extensive scope of prohibited weapons, testing their new experimental military designs on Ukrainian residents.

"The Russian troops are testing their experimental weapon designs on Ukrainian citizens. Some samples are already made operational, but haven’t yet passed the tests”, Maliar said.

She also noted that Ukrainian law-enforcement agencies carefully documented all war crimes committed by enemy troops and notified the international community expecting the proper response to Russian atrocities.     

"We are ready to wait for some time, since we realize that the international procedures are extremely time-consuming. However, our key task in this situation is to drive the enemy away from our land”, Maliar added.
