The enemy is trying to use the "thousand cuts" tactic, striking multiple directions simultaneously in order to divert attention from the main direction of the Russian offensive.

In the coming days, a sharp activation of Russian troops is possible in two directions: Kharkiv and Sumy.

This was reported by military expert Dmytro Snehyrov, co-chairman of the "Prava Sprava" civic initiative, on the "Espreso" TV channel.

"The enemy is trying to use the "thousand cuts" tactic, striking multiple directions simultaneously in order to divert attention from the main direction of the Russian offensive – Donetsk region, specifically the Pokrovsk, Kurakhove and Kramatorsk directions. Therefore, I do not rule out that in the coming days there will be a sharp activation of the enemy in Kharkiv and Sumy directions," Snehyrov suggested.

According to the military expert, the contingent of Russian troops concentrated in Sumy region is insufficient for large-scale operations.

"Regarding the events that took place recently in Sumy region, it can be said that it was a reconnaissance by combat. Information from Kadyrov about establishing control over the village of Ryzhivka has been refuted by the Russian side itself. These are so-called raiding actions by reconnaissance and sabotage groups. Such tactics are typical for the Russian occupiers," Snehyrov noted.
