Shelling Intensity Has Increased, Residential Districts Are under Fire: Situation in Kharkiv on April 20th
In the early hours of April 20th, the Russian troops continued recurrent artillery attacks on Kharkiv. The enemy shells one again hit Saltivka, a heavily damaged outer-lying residential district on the outskirts of the city. Meanwhile, the combat activities are still raging along the Izium axis.

Shelling Intensity Has Increased
"The intensity of artillery attacks on Kharkiv has increased, therefore we are urging all city residents to stay in the shelters as much as possible and not to go outdoors without an emergency reason. Please, do not cause queues and do not gather the crowds. Currently it is extremely dangerous because of high level of hazard”, Oleh Syniehubov, the Head of Regional Administration, emphasized.
Residential Districts of Kharkiv Are under Enemy Fire
The Russian troops use Grad, Smerch and Uragan multiple rocket-launching systems to shell the city from the distance of 35-40 km. The invaders continue to target primarily civilian districts, such as Kyivskyi and Industrialnyi residential community, as Oleg Syniehubov, the Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported.
"Unfortunately, today we have 16 injured residents and 3 civilian fatalities, but these data are yet to be confirmed. The enemy shells also landed in Derhachy and Chuhuiv Districts”, Syniehubov said.
Russian Shelled Kharkiv from Uragan MRLS: 4 Civilians Were Killed, 14 More People Were Injured
The Russian invaders once again shelled the city of Kharkiv resulting the four civilian fatalities, the Kharkiv Region Prosecutor’s Office reported. According to the investigators, around 1:20 p.m. on April 19th, the Russian troops shelled Moskovskyi District of Kharkiv from Uragan multiple rocker-launching systems.
Four people were killed as a result of the attack, and 14 more civilians suffered injuries. At least 10 residential districts, several private garages and a local convenience store were damaged by Russian shells.
