The Russians have changed the direction of engagement for their sabotage and reconnaissance groups.

The Russian occupying army has begun to more actively employ sabotage and reconnaissance groups near the border with Kharkiv region. At the same time, the enemy intensified the shelling in Kharkiv region.

Andriy Demchenko, Spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, announced this on the air of the national telethon.

According to him, the activity of the enemy has been recorded during the last few weeks.

"Previously, we mostly observed them along the Sumy direction. But over the past few weeks, we've seen a shift, specifically towards Kharkiv region. The enemy has been more actively employing SRGs in Kharkiv region," Demchenko noted.

The Spokesman for the State Border Guard Service suggested that the Russians might have changed the direction of employment SRGs because they realized that "nothing was working out for them along the Sumy direction."

Demchenko added that there has been a significant increase in enemy shelling along the border of Kharkiv region. Moreover, the shelling has not subsided in the border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
