"Smell of Corpses": Invaders Cannot Fix Drama Theater in Mariupol without Tons of Chlorine
Construction workers cannot proceed with repair of destroyed building because of the smell of corpses oozing through the layer of concrete.
In the temporarily seized city of Mariupol, the Russian invaders cannot proceed with repairing the Drama Theater building because of unbearable smell of corpses, which cannot be removed without using tons of chlorine, the Mariupol City Council reports with the reference to Aleksandr Nevzorov, the Russian journalist critical of government.
According to him, Russian construction workers Russian too Mariupol to profit from huge budgets allocated for city “restoration”.
"They complain: “We are sitting there with nothing to do, just sitting around doing nothing, because these idiots cannot deliver chlorine. It’s impossible to work without chlorine. The only way to work in the parts (of building – ed.), where there were many corpses, is to treat everything with tons of chlorine, and only after that we can pour concrete. When we tried to pour concrete right on top of the corpses, the foul smell penetrated even the thick layer of concrete”, Nevzorov posted.
According to him, instead of “causing troubles” and removing dead bodies, the workers attempted to “quietly pour them with concrete”.
