Some Destroyed Cities in Luhansk Region Need to Be Built “from Scratch” – Haidai

Serhii Haidai, the Head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration, says that during their offensive campaign the Russian troops had essentially destroyed everything on their way. Therefore, after de-occupation some settlements will be essential “built from scratch”, as Channel 24 reports.

"I personally so what the Russian army did to own towns and cities. Some of them are so ruined, that we will have to “build them from scratch”. I am ready to do it as soon as we start de-occupation. We already have some plans and we are in the process of some negotiations”, the Head of Regional Administration said. 

According to him, the most important step will be landmine contamination clearance. Luhansk Region is contaminated with unprecedented number of ammunitions never seen during any other war in history, as Haidai stressed.
