Stealing Everything, Including Windows Panes and Old Hospital Matrasses: How Did Russians Looted Kherson Before Withdrawal?

Before fleeing Kherson, the invaders pillaged and robbed local population. The Russian soldiers stole household appliances, furniture and even old mattresses and window panes, as Kostiantyn Ryzhenko, a Kherson journalist, told TSN.

"The pillage was so massive that in some places they even cut the window panes out of the windows. They took refrigerators, office chairs, even very cheap chairs as well. Many of them went on the looting spree. According to local hospital employees, they took 50 old mattresses that actually had to be discarded”, he said.
