Aggressor Russia does not seek a just peace in Ukraine. The Kremlin desires a Yalta-2 or Minsk-3 scenario and poses a threat to the security of European nations.

This was stated by Ukraine's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrii Sybiha, during the 31st annual meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council.

"Let us recognize two points. Russia wants a Yalta-2 (the Yalta Conference of February 1945 involving the leaders of the UK, the US, and the USSR) or at least a Minsk-3. It seeks a world divided into spheres of influence, where the use of force dictates new rules and borders. There will be no Yalta-2 or Minsk-3," he said.

According to Sybiha, Ukraine aims to achieve a just peace and uphold principles that benefit all. And Kyiv needs geopolitical clarity regarding Ukraine's place within the Euro-Atlantic community.

"These are two approaches to the future, being decided right now in Ukraine. We must act now to secure that future. We need to eliminate "gray zones", as Russia turns them into spheres of influence," the minister stated.

Russia is not a partner; it is the greatest threat to collective security, Sybiha declared.

"Russia's participation in the OSCE is a threat to European cooperation, and it will remain so. Russia is deepening its collaboration with Iran and North Korea, interfering in Georgia, Moldova, the Western Balkans, and other states, and waging a hybrid war against Europe," the Ukrainian foreign minister concluded.
