Russia creates a new threat in Kharkiv region: an expert on the danger
Fighting continues in the region.

The Russian army has established a foothold near the settlement of Novomlynsk in the Kupiansk direction in Kharkiv region. However, Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to eliminate it.
This was reported by military analyst Denys Popovych on the FREEDOM TV channel.
According to him, the situation stabilized after the occupiers crossed the Oskil River using boats. However, the Russian invaders managed to establish a second foothold on the right bank of the Oskil, near the area of Masiutivka. Popovych emphasizes that it is too early to claim that this second position has also been neutralized. Fighting continues in this sector of the front.
Popovych noted that these two footholds posed a threat to the settlement of Dvorichna. From there, Russian forces could open a direct route to Kupiansk. In this way, the Russian occupiers planned to launch an assault on the city from two directions simultaneously.
The Russian army is also persisting in its attempts to advance in the northern part of Kharkiv region, particularly in the area of Vovchansk. There, the occupiers aim to create a "buffer zone." For now, the Russian forces have been unable to achieve their objectives. However, the risk of escalation in this sector remains.
