9 reactors of Ukrainian nuclear stations have been put back into operation after repairs. All except for the occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.

Nuclear workers completed a large-scale repair campaign ahead of schedule and are actively training to counter military threats.

This is stated in the story of TSN correspondent Olena Shvorak.

Taking into account last year's events, energy workers prepared very seriously for the cold season. All station personnel were mobilized for repairs. They've also learned to produce spare parts themselves, eliminating reliance on supplies from the aggressor country.

"This marks the end of Russia's monopoly in the market for producing fuel for Soviet-designed reactors," says Petro Kotin, President of “Energoatom."

According to the head of “Energoatom”, the repair campaign on the power units was completed ahead of schedule.

"All the power units located on the territory, controlled by Ukraine, have been repaired and reloaded with fresh nuclear fuel. Now we are ready for the autumn-winter period at the maximum capacity of the power units," Petro Kotin says.

Without the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, Ukrainian reactors supply 60% of the country's total energy needs. Therefore, nuclear experts hope to avoid a total blackout. However, temporary outages are possible - it all depends on enemy attacks and severe frosts.

The availability of electricity in homes also depends on Ukraine's ability to protect its energy system, which still remains one of the targets of the enemy army.
