Terrible statistics: Russian military killed almost 140 Ukrainian children and wounded more than 200

In Ukraine, as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, which ruthlessly attacked our country on the night of February 24th and continues to terrorize civilans, at least 139 children were killed. 

 It is reported by the official Attorney General office.

Until the situation on the morning of March 27th, 2022, 139 children had been killed and more than 205 wounded, because of the Russian’s military aggression.

The most affected were сhildren in Kyiv region - 65, Kharkiv - 45, Donetsk - 53, Chernihiv - 38, Mykolaiv - 29, Luhansk - 25, Zaporizhzhya - 19, Kherson - 21, the capital - 16, Zhitomir - 15 and Sumy - 14 regions.

Furthermore,  on March 25th, Russia's military had shelled with heavy artillery at the village of Bolshaya Aleksandrovka, Beryslav district, Kherson region. A 4-year-old child died as a result of shelling by Russian forces.

Two more children were injured on March 26 because of the shelling of Melitopol in the Zaporozhye region by the russian’s occupiers.

On the same day Putin's army opened fire on the town of Boyarka in the Kyiv region, as a result a child was wounded.  Due to daily bombarding and shelling, 733 educational institutions have already been damaged, 74 of them are completely destroyed. The worst situation is in Donetsk, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kyiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions and the city of Kyiv.

These statistics are not definitive, since there is no possibility of visual inspections firing locations in areas of active combat operations and in temporarily occupied territories.

In Mariupol, 11-year-old girl was shot right in her face by Russian soldier. The bullet went through her jaw and injured the root of her tongue. Now the girl is in hospital, she can barely walk, but fortunately her condition is improving.
