Russia does not want any "freezing" of the war in Ukraine.
This was stated by Russia's permanent representative to the UN, Vasyl Nebenzya, according to Russian propaganda agencies.
"Russia will not accept any scenarios involving the freezing of the conflict in Ukraine. That doesn’t suit us," Nebenzya said.
He "justified" his statement by claiming that Ukraine allegedly refused Hungary's proposal to establish a "Christmas ceasefire," which, according to him, demonstrates "Kyiv's unwillingness to move toward peace."
"Kyiv's unwillingness to move toward peace became evident when it rejected Hungary's proposal to establish a Christmas ceasefire," Nebenzya said.
