The enemy is increasingly focusing on the village of Andriivka in the Bakhmut district of Donetsk region. North of Andriivka, the Russian occupiers are applying pressure on Defense Forces' positions from Slovyanka and Petropavlivka, advancing through ravines toward the Yasenove-Andriivka road.
This was reported by the analytical project DeepState.
"Recently, on the map everyone could observe a "red enclave" on the northeastern outskirts of Andriivka, which some considered an error or bug. In reality, this reflects the presence and entrenchment of Russian infantry on the village outskirts, infiltrating from different directions, even through Defense Forces' positions. Over time, the enemy's movements became clearer, showing that they advanced from Petropavlivka and are now primarily trying to enter the village from that area using dug-in fortifications," the report states.
Simultaneously, according to DeepState, the infantry of the Russian army tried to advance through Shevchenko village via engineering-fortification structures stretching between Andriivka and Shevchenko. Footage has already surfaced online showing Ukrainian fighters engaging Russian troops in the area. After initial successful infiltrations into Andriivka, the invaders saw an opportunity to build on this and are now sending infantry on near-suicidal missions under the order: "Die, but reach the target."

"Defending Andriivka is currently challenging for the Defense Forces due to various issues, which we hope will be resolved. Despite this, Ukrainian troops are making maximum efforts and eliminating a significant number of Russian occupiers. Meanwhile, the enemy is concentrating efforts between Ulakly and Dachne, south of Andriivka, which could open additional opportunities for storming the village," DeepState analysts conclude.
