Today's statements by dictator Putin indicate that he intends to continue the war, at least throughout 2025.
This opinion was expressed by Lieutenant Andrii Kovalenko, Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) at the NSDC, in a Telegram post.
"Putin is once again publicly showing that he wants to keep waging the war. He behaves this way because he has the resources to sustain the war until 2025," Kovalenko believes.
For this reason, the CCD head calls for intensified economic strikes against Russia, referring to sanctions and attacks on Russian oil facilities.
"Economic strikes on Russia are necessary: targeting its ability to sell energy resources, the prices of these resources, and tightening restrictions both by the West and the leaders of the Global South. Energy is the main tool for financing the war, and Russia must constantly feel the blows," Kovalenko stated.
According to his information, there were over 80 attacks on Russian oil facilities throughout 2024.
