Today's statements by dictator Putin indicate that he fears negotiations and is doing everything possible to prolong the war.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in response to the dictator's recent remarks.
“Today, Putin once again confirmed that he fears negotiations, fears strong leaders, and is doing everything to prolong the war. Every step he takes and all his cynical tricks are aimed at making the war endless,” the Head of State emphasized.
Zelenskyy reminded that in 2014, Russia started a hybrid war against Ukraine, which escalated into a full-scale war in 2022.
“Now we see a possibility of achieving real peace, but it is Putin who is doing everything to either continue full-scale killing instead of peace or secure a pause to prepare for another full-scale invasion with hybrid strikes in the meantime,” the President said.
Zelenskyy urges world leaders to learn from the mistakes of previous years and from the mistakes of those leaders who are no longer on the stage. He believes that “Putin has significant means to destroy the world but too small and cowardly a heart to withstand real pressure from leaders.”
“That is why we must act cohesively and decisively—all those who are brave enough to believe in peace and bring it closer through strength. True peace is possible if Russia is compelled to achieve it,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy concluded.
