The Russian occupiers are planning to hold so-called "elections" in the occupied Crimea for fake self-governing bodies on September 8. This information was reported by the National Resistance Center.

According to the National Resistance Center, the Russians are currently forming lists from branches of the Kremlin's council of public figures in the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. These individuals will be sent as "observers," with the task of helping the Kremlin "legitimize" the election process.

"The occupying administration is also holding discussions with displaced persons in Crimea, encouraging them to vote in Crimea using their residency permits. The enemy plans to increase voter turnout in this way. Additionally, voting will be mandatory among military personnel," the statement reads.
