The Russian occupiers will try to increase the pressure in the Avdiivka area. They have not yet used the units they have in reserve.
Military-political analyst of the “Information Resistance” group, Oleksander Kovalenko, told this on the air if the joint telethon.
"The Russians will not stop. The assessment here might be quite simple: they will only increase their pressure. They have not yet used the units they have in reserve. This, by the way, is the 74th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 41st Combined Arms Army, from the Luhansk region. And also the 18th Motorized Rifle Division of the 11th Army Corps, which hasn't fully engaged in the battles for Avdiivka. Just from these two units, it's already clear they have the resources to continue. Besides, they can reinforce with others. So, they won't stop until the New Year, and even after that. This is a crucial matter for them," Oleksandr Kovalenko emphasized.
According to him, more than 40,000 Russian troops are now concentrated around Avdiivka.
“And they might not achieve their goal... it might not work out for them... but even if they do achieve their goal - what cost will it come at, and to what extent will it weaken other fronts,” the expert highlighted.
