The Ukrainian Armed Forces are actively engaged in combat operations along a frontline stretching over 1,170 kilometers. The situation remains difficult, particularly in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions.

This was stated by Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi during the All-Ukrainian Congress of Local and Regional Authorities.

"The enemy has significantly increased the intensity of offensive actions in the Kramatorsk, Toretsk and Vremivka directions, attempting to break through our defenses but failing to achieve success," Syrskyi reported.

Additionally, the situation in southern Ukraine is tense but under control. The enemy is conducting offensive operations of low intensity in the Orikhiv and Prydniprovsky directions.

Currently, Syrskyi says, the main focus of Ukrainian forces is on holding their defensive lines and positions. Another critical objective for the Armed Forces is to exhaust the enemy and create conditions for the eventual liberation of the occupied territories.
