For the second consecutive day, the enemy has been heavily attacking Odesa. Over a dozen "Shahed" drones were once again aimed at energy facilities. A 55-year-old man was injured. Due to damage to the heating network, about 5,000 residents were left without heating. In a large residential district, citizens are still without electricity and heating after a massive strike that occurred the previous night.

This was reported by TSN correspondent Serhiy Osadchuk.

To attack Odesa, the enemy once again sent a swarm of strike drones. The defense forces attempted to shoot them down over the sea, but the "Shaheds" broke through toward residential areas, ensuring that even if shot down, the explosive parts would cause maximum damage.

A fire broke out on the roof of a restaurant, and warehouse buildings were set ablaze. Debris damaged an administrative building, a car wash, and fell onto the roadway. A downed "Shahed" fell on the territory of a company. There was a crater from the explosion next to its engine, and cars were crushed by the blast wave and debris all around. In the morning, people came to work and saw that everything around was crushed.

Here's what Odessa residents say about the attack:

  • "We're out of work, we've invested so much money, so much has been ruined."

  •  "Thank God no one was hurt, but as you can see, the destruction is immense. We don't even know what to do. There are no military targets here at all. As you can see, it's warehouses, nothing military for sure."

  •  "We had a coffee production here, and fortunately, almost nothing was damaged. Only the glass was broken, and the ceiling fell. Thankfully, everyone is safe, and all the equipment is intact. It's just unclear why we were targeted - there are no military objects here, just civilian infrastructure, production, and photo studios."

Meanwhile, energy workers are still working to restore the damage caused by yesterday's attack. In one area of the region, over 80,000 subscribers are still without electricity. The equipment was replaced during the night, and by morning, electricity began to be restored to Odesa residents. The heating stations are gradually being reconnected, so by the end of the day, people who had been without heating for over a day are promised to have heat restored.
