The Russian army continues merciless shelling throughout the territory of Ukraine.
Here is the situation in the regions as of 9:00, according to the regional state administrations.
In Chernihiv region, the enemy shelled Novhorod-Siverskyi district with mortars. There were also reports of ammunition being dropped from a drone. There were no casualties or damages.
In Sumy region, the Russians carried out 9 shelling attacks (with 34 explosions).
A UAV of the "Shahed" type attacked the outskirts of the town of Seredyna-Buda, Shostka district. As a result, an economic building was damaged. There was no information about the victims. The data is being clarified.
"Yesterday, throughout the day, the Russians conducted 22 shelling attacks. A total of 104 explosions were recorded. The shelling affected the communities of Bilopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Hlukhiv, Znob-Novhorodske, Krasnopillia, Myropillia, Novoslobidka, Shalyhine and Yunakivka. In the Velyka Pysarivka community, a private house, a garage with a car, and a gas pipeline were damaged as a result of one of the mortar shelling attacks," the report states.
The Znob-Novhorodske community also suffered damages. The enemy attacked with artillery, resulting in 28 explosions. Seven private houses, an electrical transmission line, a church, and a fire and rescue unit were damaged. Two people were injured as a result of the attack.
In Zaporizhzhia region, there were 71 shelling incidents within a day. The Russians carried out airstrikes on Mala Tokmachka, Olhivske and Huliaipole. They also launched multiple rocket launcher attacks on Zaliznychne, Temirivka, Preobrazhenka, and Olhivske. Additionally, 64 artillery strikes targeted Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Poltavka, Shcherbaky and other frontline villages. Fortunately, no casualties were reported. However, there were 12 cases of residential and property destruction among the local population.
In Dnipropetrovsk region, the occupiers shelled Nikopol twice during the night. The city was shelled with heavy artillery fire. A church and a private enterprise were damaged as a result of the attacks. Additionally, nine residential houses, an economic structure, and power transmission lines were affected.
In Kharkiv region, during the past day, a private house was damaged in the town of Vovchansk as a result of shelling, but there were no casualties. A 40-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman were injured, and the building of the local Children's and Youth Sport School was also damaged. In the Kupiansk Forestry shelling caused a forest fire, but there were no casualties.
"Yesterday, the enemy also shelled the village of Pishchane in Kupiansk district. A 58-year-old woman was injured, and a private residential property was damaged. In the evening, as a result of three missile strikes (preliminarily from an S-300 system), buildings and utility structures were damaged in the city of Chuhiv. The location of two additional missile impacts and the extent of the damage are still being determined," the report states.
In Luhansk region, the enemy conducted shelling attacks in the areas of Novoselivka and Bilohorivka during the day. The enemy's attempts were repelled by return fire.
In addition to these villages, Nevske and Makiivka also came under enemy shelling. An airstrike was once again carried out on Serhiivka. During the day, the enemy conducted 71 shelling attacks, launching a total of 311 projectiles.
In Donetsk region, three people were injured within a day. The Russians shelled 13 populated areas, including Chasiv Yar, Avdiivka, Toretsk, Kurakhove, villages of Maksymivka, Vremivka, Karlivka, Maksymilianivka, Umanske, Novoukrainka, Petrivka, Novomarkove, and Zvanivka. Eleven objects were damaged, including six residential houses, two utility structures, the administrative building of SE “ToretskCoal” and the workshop of SE “ToretskCoal”.
In Mykolaiv region, the enemy carried out artillery shelling on the waters near Ochakiv community. There were no casualties reported. Additionally, in the evening, as a result of enemy shelling in the city of Ochakiv, Ochakiv community, residential houses, and a utility structure were damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
In the Kherson region, the enemy launched 28 shellings (176 shells) in the region during the day. The Russian military targeted the areas of 12 settlements in the region. The occupiers destroyed the premises of an agricultural enterprise in the village of Vesele in the Kakhovka district with guided aerial bombs. A 64-year-old woman received minor injuries as a result of the shelling. The Russians also attacked Beryslav. The territory of the plant was hit. In total, 2 people were injured during the day as a result of the Russian aggression.
