The situation on the Polish-Ukrainian border is becoming dangerously critical - Taras Batenko

Blocking the border with Ukraine by Polish carriers poses a serious threat to providing Ukraine with the necessary products and blocks one of the main routes of our exports.

This was announced by Ukrainian People’s Deputy Taras Batenko, who initiated an appeal from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the newly elected Polish Sejm.

In this appeal, Ukrainian parliamentarians urged their Polish counterparts to influence the current Polish Government in resolving the issue of blocking the Polish-Ukrainian border.

"Further blocking of the movement of goods across the Ukrainian-Polish border will inevitably lead to the deterioration of both the socio-economic situation in Ukraine and its military capabilities. We remind our friends in Poland that the land corridor into Europe is perhaps the only way today to trade and provide Ukraine with the necessary goods," Taras Batenko stated.
