This is stated in the UN report entitled “World Economic Situation and Prospects as of mid-2023”

"At the same time, the cost estimate for restoration was increased to 411 billion dollars," the organization emphasized.

Analysts emphasize that the long-term prospects for Ukraine will depend on how long and how intensively the hostilities will continue. It will also affect the country's ability to finance infrastructure recovery.

"The economy of Ukraine has lost a significant portion of its industrial capacity and energy infrastructure due to the war, contracting by 29.1% in 2022. Despite external financial assistance, including an IMF loan and budget support from the European Union and the United States, the economy is likely to stagnate in 2023," the report states.
